ASA representatives delivered scientific presentations at the “Human in Motion” Congress in Portorož.
At the International Congress “Human in Motion” held in Portorož, Slovenia, representatives of the Azerbaijan Sport Academy (ASA) participated with scientific presentations.
The Academy’s psychologist, PhD in Pedagogy Aynur Bunyatova, delivered a presentation on “Socio-psychological risk factors of psychoactive substance use among physically active students aged 17–24 in Azerbaijan.” Her report aroused great interest among the congress participants and was widely discussed.
Psychologist of ASA’s laboratory, Arzu Suleymanova, gave a presentation on “Personality-based psychological interventions in promoting long-term physical activity: a HEXACO model approach,” highlighting innovative approaches in sports psychology.
Within the framework of the congress, participants held an official meeting with Slovenia’s Minister of Education, Science, and Innovation, Professor Igor Papič. In his opening speech, the minister emphasized the importance of international cooperation, particularly the exchange of knowledge and experience in the fields of health, sport, and longevity.
In the second half of the day, various scientific presentations were heard on the topics “Children in Motion,” “Physical Activity and Inactivity,” “MoBI and XR Technologies in Clinics,” and “Healthy Aging.”
