ASA featured for the first time in an international ranking

Azerbaijan Sports Academy (ASA) has been included for the first time in the “Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025.” This ranking evaluates the performance of higher education institutions in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Academy was ranked in the 801–1000 band for “Good Health and Well-being” and in the 1001+ band for “Reduced Inequalities,” thus demonstrating its engagement in these areas. Among 25 Azerbaijani universities included in the ranking, ASA was ranked 9th nationally, and 1501+ globally.

Furthermore, ASA was also listed in the 1501+ range under the categories of “Quality Education” and “Partnerships for the Goals,” reaffirming its presence and commitment in these domains.

It should be noted that the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings is a global performance assessment that measures the contributions of universities to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
