A new opportunity for ASA’s scientific potential: the “ProQuest Central” academic information database

As part of the “THE Eurasian Universities Summit,” the official opening ceremony of the “ProQuest Central” academic information database was held. The event was attended by representatives of scientific centers and libraries operating in Azerbaijan, representatives of higher education institutions, as well as employees of the Azerbaijan Sport Academy (ASA).

With the nationwide launch of “ProQuest Central,” access has been provided to 47 multidisciplinary databases, 43,000 full-text journals, 3.5 million preprint articles, approximately 400,000 dissertations (including some Azerbaijani dissertations), as well as a global news archive, reports, and conference materials.

Thus, the wider academic community across the country, including researchers from ASA, will be able to benefit from the “ProQuest Central” database.
