ABOUT SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM

Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sport announces a unique opportunity for a selected group of highly-motivated and prospective undergraduate and graduate students to experience top-class and challenging summer school on “Caspian Sport Adventures”

WHY PARTICIPATE

• Broaden general knowledge in sport sciences

• Earn academic credits (3 ECTS)

• Improve language and intercultural skills

• Participate in sport activities

• Enjoy Formula 1 Grand Prix

The summer school focuses on the following topics:

• Active lifestyle for health

• The role of sport as a “soft power”

• Unique concept of E-Sport

• Management of sports organizations and sporting events. Case study: F1 events

CULTURAL PROGRAMME

The practical part of the program includes the following activities, tours and trips:

• Old city tour

• Extended tour to Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix

• Excursion to Baku and Guba cities;

• gathering insights in Azerbaijani history traditions and culture

• Beach trip and sport competitions in Caspian Sea basin

• Visit to skate hall (competition among participants)

• Parties or playing games, having a joyful time in the fresh air

PARTICIPATION FEE

International students: 650 Euro

• ASAPES scholarship is available for selected Azerbaijani students

MAIN TARGET GROUPS

Undergraduate, graduate from business, economics, physical education, sport and other relevant specializations.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

All students must meet one of the following requirements:
