Sport Medicine and Rehabilitation
The Master of Science program in Sport Medicine and Rehabilitation is designed exclusively for Medical Doctors who completed residency in one of the clinical specialities. This program is designed to give clinicians a deeper understanding of sport medicine, sport injuries and exercise medicine. The program covers the evidence-based management of sports medicine and musculoskeletal injuries, emphasizes the viral role of physical activity in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases. This is an exciting opportunity to undertake research in newly established ASAPES Sports Research Laboratory under the supervision of leading international exsperts from top British universities including UCL Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health (ISEH), English Institute of Sport (EIS), UCLH etc.
The medium of instruction is English and education is module-based. One of the modules is delivered in the UK.
The program consists of compulsory and elective modules, clinical skills sessions, development of dissertation/master thesis.

All MSc students undertake independent research project from a diverse range of topics which culminates in development of dissertation and its defense.
Teaching is delivered through a combination of formal lectures, hands-on practical sessions, clinics and field trips, and will be delivered by lectures who are highly experienced in their field. Assessment is through written examination and presentation.
Carriers
Graduates of the program will gain a deeper understanding and valuable insights into the key areas of sports injury prevention and management, health and physical activity and will be able to prescribe exercises safely for a range of medical conditions (both for athletes and general population). This will prepare them for potential work for many areas from elite sports medicine to public healthcare rehabilitation services.
